لِيهنِكَ أَيُّها المَولَى وِسامٌ

لِيهنِكَ أَيُّها المَولَى وِسامٌ

حَصَلَت بِهِ عَلى الشَرفِ المَجيدِ

حَصَلَت بِهِ عَلى الشَرفِ المَجيدِ

May this decoration bring you joy, my lord,

Through which you have attained illustrious honor.

بِهِ عِقدُ المُلوكِ إَلَيكَ وافى

بِهِ عِقدُ المُلوكِ إَلَيكَ وافى

يَزينُ مِن عَلائكَ أَيّ جيدِ

يَزينُ مِن عَلائكَ أَيّ جيدِ

With it, the necklace of kings has come to you,

Adorning any neck with a share of your eminence.

أَفادَكَ رفعةً وَاِعتاضَ فَخراً

أَفادَكَ رفعةً وَاِعتاضَ فَخراً

بِفَضلِكَ ما عَلَيهِ مِن مَزيدِ

بِفَضلِكَ ما عَلَيهِ مِن مَزيدِ

It raised your standing and gained pride in return,

Through your merit—a pride to which nothing could be added.

سَما بِكَ أَرِّخوهُ فَجَلَّ قَدراً

سَما بِكَ أَرِّخوهُ فَجَلَّ قَدراً

وَإِن العِقدَ يَفخَر بِالفَريدِ

وَإِن العِقدَ يَفخَر بِالفَريدِ

It rose through you—record its date!—and grew great in worth,

And indeed the necklace takes pride in the peerless pearl.
