نَصَحنا لَكُم ردّوا عَقارب سَعيِكُم

نَصَحنا لَكُم ردّوا عَقارب سَعيِكُم

وَإِلّا رَدَدناها عَلَيكم أَفاعِيا

وَإِلّا رَدَدناها عَلَيكم أَفاعِيا

We have counseled you: turn back the scorpions of your efforts;

Or else we shall send them back upon you as vipers.

وَلا تَتَصَدوا لِلعَداوة بَينَنا

وَلا تَتَصَدوا لِلعَداوة بَينَنا

فَأَهون شَيءٍ أَن نَكيد الأَعاديا

فَأَهون شَيءٍ أَن نَكيد الأَعاديا

And do not pursue hostility between us,

For nothing is easier for us than plotting against our foes.
