May God keep you, O spreading tree of deep shade,
May God watch over you, O shady grove,
restoring health to the weary, ailing one.

The breeze passes through you without cease,

while the sun’s passage is barred.

ومخضلand the lush expanse of الفيافيthe wilds ليسnot نلقىwe find

And such a bedewer of the wilderness we never find
And among the lush expanses of the wilds, we find nothing
except amid thickets on a lush, dewy meadow.

أحاطencircled بهِaround it الغديرthe pool فعادso it became يحكيresembling
أحاط بهِ الغدير فعاد يحكي

A brook encircles you and comes to mirror
