الحمدpraise للهto God بلغناwe attained المنىthe wishes
الحمد لله بلغنا المنى
لماwhen رأيناكwe saw you وزالand vanished العناthe hardship
لما رأيناك وزال العنا
Praise be to God: we have attained our wishes,
Praise be to God, we have reached the goal
When we saw you and hardship vanished.
When we saw you, sorrow went away
وفزتand you won بالأجرwith the reward وكَبْتِand the humbling of العدىthe foes
وفزت بالأجر وكَبْتِ العدى
وفزتَand you won بالعزwith glory وطيبand the sweetness of الثناpraise
وفزتَ بالعز وطيب الثنا
And you won reward and the humbling of foes,
You won the prize and defeated the enemy
And you won glory and sweet praise.
You attained might and good praise
فالحمدso praise للهto God علىfor ماthat which بهwith it
فالحمد لله على ما به
منَّHe bestowed favor عليناupon us منof ظهورthe emergence of السناradiance
منَّ علينا من ظهور السنا
So praise be to God for that with which
So praise be to God for what He has
He has favored us: the shining forth of radiance.
Bestowed on us in the emergence of the brightness
