O my lord, O son of those who were foremost in reaching greatness,
My Lord, O son of the foremost to sublime heights,
and of those who first championed the monotheistic faith,
And the first to aid the religion, so beautiful!

through God's light you have no need of any adornment,
You are enriched by the light of God over all adornment,
and have been clothed, through His good pleasure, in the noblest ornaments.
And clothed by His pleasure in the noblest attire.

And your dignity has added glory and awe to kingship,
Your dignity increases the King's honor and awe,
and granted it a watering place in God's mercy.
And facilitates for him in God's mercy a watering place.

And O sun of guidance in a caliphate's sky,
O sun of guidance in the sky of the Caliphate,
and his sons, the bright, luminous stars, are beheld.
And his sons, the radiant, shining flowers.

Blessed is He who has shown you in every aspect
Blessed is He who made you manifest in every aspect,
beautiful, majestic, sought as a refuge and looked to with hope.
Handsome, majestic, and hopeful.
فيُخجلُand so shames منكin you الشمسَthe sun شمسُa sun of هدايةٍguidance
ويحسُدُand envies منكin you البدرُthe full moon بدراًa full moon مكمَّلاmade perfect
For a sun of guidance in you puts the sun to shame,
The sun of guidance is embarrassed before you,
and the full moon envies a perfected full moon in you.
And the full moon envies you, a complete moon.

When you clothe the age and its people
in garments of glory that decay cannot touch,
In robes of honor that decay cannot reach,

and encircled the necks of kings with favors,
And adorn the wrists of the kings of steeds
and crowned them with a garlanded crown of glory,
Crowning them with pride, a bejeweled crown,

Whatever you wish, then dress them, for the beholder says:
“Blessed be He! How splendid, how radiant, how beautiful!”
"Blessed is the most beautiful, felicitous, and perfect!"
ألاَindeed كلُّeveryone منwho صلّىprayed وضحّىand offered sacrifice ومنand whoever دعاsupplicated
ومدَّand stretched out يدَيْهِhis two hands ضارعاًpleading humbly متوسِّلاimploring
Indeed, everyone who has prayed and offered sacrifice, and whoever has supplicated
Indeed, all who prayed, sacrificed, supplicated,
and stretched out both hands, humbly pleading and imploring—
And extended his hands beseeching, hopeful,
وُجُودُكَyour existence شرٌan evil (as written) فيin حصولِsecuring قَبولهhis acceptance

your existence is an evil in securing his acceptance,
Your generosity is good fortune in attaining acceptance,
and your generosity enriched his palm, so he performed voluntary devotions.
And your generosity enriches his palms, so he feathered.
