كأنيas though I بلطفwith the grace of اللهGod قدindeed عمّencompassed خَلْقَهُHis creation
كأني بلطف الله قد عمّ خَلْقَهُ
وعافىand restored to health إمامthe imam of المسلمينthe Muslims وقدand indeed شفىhealed
وعافى إمام المسلمين وقد شفى
I seem to see God's grace encompassing His creation,
As if by God's grace, it has covered all creation
and restoring the Muslims' imam to health, indeed healing him.
And healed the Imam of Muslims as he recovered
وقاضيand the judge of القضاءdecree الحَتْمirrevocable سجَّلrecorded ختمهhis seal
وقاضي القضاء الحَتْم سجَّل ختمه
وخَطّand wrote علىupon رسمthe writ of الشفاءhealing لهfor him اكتفىhe had enough
وخَطّ على رسم الشفاء له اكتفى
And the judge of irrevocable decree has affixed his seal,
The judge of judges signed his final decree
and written upon his writ of healing: 'He has had enough.'
And sufficed by inscribing the writ of healing
