How many subtle wisdoms you have made clear
Whose finer points had eluded minds.
Whose subtleties were hidden from thoughts
كمhow many منof جرائمoffenses قدindeed غفرتyou forgave عظيمهاthe gravest of them
كم من جرائم قد غفرت عظيمها
مستنزلاًseeking to draw down منsome of رحمةmercy الغفارِthe Oft-Forgiving
مستنزلاً من رحمة الغفارِ
How many offenses you have forgiven, even the gravest,
How many grave crimes you have forgiven their enormity
Seeking to draw down some of the Oft-Forgiving's mercy.

علمتhave learned ملوكkings الأرضthe earth أنكthat you are فخرهاits pride
علمت ملوك الأرض أنك فخرها
فتسابقتso they raced لرضاكfor your favor فيon مضمارِa racecourse
فتسابقت لرضاك في مضمارِ
The kings of the earth have learned that you are its pride,
You have taught the kings of the earth that you are its pride
So they raced for your favor on the racecourse.
So they raced to please you in an arena
