نسأل من الله مولانا الكريم

يمنن علينا قريبا بالفرج

يمنن علينا قريبا بالفرج

We ask God, our generous Lord,

We ask from Allah, our generous Master

to favor us soon with relief,

To bless us soon with relief

من قبل ما يظهر الخيم الوخيم

من قبل ما يظهر الخيم الوخيم

فيه المعاصي الكبيرة والحرج

فيه المعاصي الكبيرة والحرج

before the baleful disposition appears,

Before the gloomy tents appear

with grave sins and wrongdoing within it.

With major sins and hardship

يا ذا المواهب وذا الفضل العظيم

يا ذا المواهب وذا الفضل العظيم

يا من عطاياه تملا لك فج

يا من عطاياه تملا لك فج

O Possessor of gifts and of immense bounty,

O You of abundant gifts and great bounty

O You whose gifts fill a mountain pass for You,

Whose gifts fill every gap

يا من له الشان والملك القديم

يا من له الشان والملك القديم

فرج علينا وخلصنا ونج

فرج علينا وخلصنا ونج

O You who possess majesty and eternal sovereignty,

O You of eternal glory and kingdom

grant us relief, deliver us, and save us.

Relieve us, save us, and deliver us

وهب لنا ربنا القلب السليم

وهب لنا ربنا القلب السليم

الطاهر الصاف من كل خمج

الطاهر الصاف من كل خمج

And grant us, our Lord, a sound heart,

Grant us, our Lord, an upright heart

pure and clear of every taint,

Pure and cleansed of blemish

والاستقامة على النهج القويم

والاستقامة على النهج القويم

صراطك الحق خال عن عوج

صراطك الحق خال عن عوج

and steadfastness upon the upright path—

Steadfastness on the straight path

Your true way, free of crookedness—

Your true path, free of crookedness

وحسن أخلاق ترضى يا حليم

وحسن أخلاق ترضى يا حليم

في ذه وفي تيك تنجي للمهج

في ذه وفي تيك تنجي للمهج

and fine character that pleases You, O Forbearing One,

And good character that pleases You, O Forbearing One

in this life and the next, bringing salvation to souls,

It will save our souls from torment

مع اتباع النبي الهادي الرحيم

مع اتباع النبي الهادي الرحيم

في كل مدخل ومخرج إن خرج

في كل مدخل ومخرج إن خرج

along with following the guiding, merciful Prophet,

By following the guiding Prophet

in every entering and leaving, if one goes out;

In every entrance and exit, whenever we exit

والفوز يا ذا المواهب بالنعيم

والفوز يا ذا المواهب بالنعيم

في جنة الخلد من غير وهج

في جنة الخلد من غير وهج

and, O Giver of gifts, the attainment of bliss

And triumph, O Giver of Gifts, with bliss

in the Garden of Eternity, without scorching heat,

In the eternal Garden without blaze

مع كل صالح وعامل لك عليم

مع كل صالح وعامل لك عليم

فضلا ومنا وغن كنا همج

فضلا ومنا وغن كنا همج

with every righteous person and learned worker in Your service,

With all the righteous and your knowing worshippers

by grace and favor, even if we are rabble.

Blessing and favor, though we were uncouth

يا قلبي أوصيك اسمع للنديم

يا قلبي أوصيك اسمع للنديم

ولا تسمع لأقوال الهرج

ولا تسمع لأقوال الهرج

O my heart, I counsel you: listen to the companion,

O my heart I advise you listen to the companion

and do not listen to words of idle chatter.

And do not listen to idle chatter

كن خامل الذكر للخلوة مديم

كن خامل الذكر للخلوة مديم

تارك لما ليس يعني في النهج

تارك لما ليس يعني في النهج

Be little known, ever devoted to seclusion,

Be continually invoking in solitude

forsaking what does not concern you on the path,

Leaving what is meaningless on the path

صامت عن الشر لك شغل عظيم

صامت عن الشر لك شغل عظيم

بكل مفروض تارك للحرج

بكل مفروض تارك للحرج

keeping your tongue from evil; you have a weighty task:

Silent from evil, you have a great occupation

every prescribed duty, while shunning wrongdoing.

With every ordained duty, leaving embarrassment

يا رب واختم بخير يا كريم

يا رب واختم بخير يا كريم

لكل من كان حينه قد درج

لكل من كان حينه قد درج

O Lord, grant a good ending, O Generous One,

O Lord, and conclude with good, O Bountiful

to everyone whose appointed time has passed.

For all whose time has passed

ثم الصلاة وتسليم مقيم

ثم الصلاة وتسليم مقيم

على النبي من رقى أعلى الدرج

على النبي من رقى أعلى الدرج

Then blessings and abiding salutations of peace

Then salaat and steadfast prayers

upon the Prophet, who ascended the highest steps,

Upon the Prophet who reached the highest level

والآل والصحب ماهب النسيم

والآل والصحب ماهب النسيم

وما أتانا الفرج من كل فج

وما أتانا الفرج من كل فج

and his family and companions, as long as the breeze blows,

And his family and companions who scattered blessings

and as long as relief comes to us from every mountain pass.

And relief has not yet come to us from every crevasse

الحمد لله تعداد النعيم

الحمد لله تعداد النعيم

ما عبد هلل وبالذكر انبهج

ما عبد هلل وبالذكر انبهج

Praise be to God, as many times as there are blessings,

Praise be to Allah, enumerating the blessings

as long as a servant proclaims God's oneness and rejoices in remembrance.

No servant worships Allah and through remembrance rejoices
