ما في فعايلي شيء يعجب

ما في فعايلي شيء يعجب

ومن يقل غير ذا يكذب

ومن يقل غير ذا يكذب

There is nothing in my deeds to admire.

There is nothing in my deeds that impresses,

And whoever says otherwise is lying.

And whoever says otherwise is lying,

وإنما أرتجي ربي

وإنما أرتجي ربي

يمنن بتوبة على المذنب

يمنن بتوبة على المذنب

And I only hope that my Lord

I only hope for my Lord,

will graciously grant repentance to the sinner.

To bestow repentance upon the sinner,

بها ينال المناكله

بها ينال المناكله

لكل ما اختشى تذهب

لكل ما اختشى تذهب

Through it, one attains every wish;

Through it one attains comfort,

it dispels all that I fear.

For all that I fear disappears,

توبة صحيحة ومقبولة

توبة صحيحة ومقبولة

فيها الهنا والشفا والطب

فيها الهنا والشفا والطب

A genuine and accepted repentance:

A sincere and accepted repentance,

within it are happiness, healing, and medicine.

In it is bliss, healing, and remedy,

يحصل بها كل مطلوبي

يحصل بها كل مطلوبي

ماعاد بأفضل أو أطنب

ماعاد بأفضل أو أطنب

Through it, all that I seek is attained.

With it I attain all my wishes,

I shall add no more, nor speak at length.

Nothing more virtuous or generous.
