ياعظيم الفضل يا معطي الجزيل

يا كثير الخير جمل ياجميل

يا كثير الخير جمل ياجميل

O You of immense bounty, O Giver of munificent gifts,

O You of immense bounty, O giver of abundant gifts.

O You abundant in goodness, overflowing, O Beautiful One,

O You of abundant goodness, bestow beauty, O Beautiful One.

يا إلهي أدرك العبد العليل

يا إلهي أدرك العبد العليل

واعف عنه إن عفوك له دواه

واعف عنه إن عفوك له دواه

O my God, come to the aid of the ailing servant,

O my God, rescue the ailing servant.

and pardon him—for Your pardon is his medicine.

And pardon him, for Your pardon is his cure.

ماله إلا دواك لا شفا إلا شفاك

ماله رب سواك

He has no medicine but Yours, no healing save Your healing;

أصلح القلب الذي قد عم داه

Set right the heart whose sickness has spread throughout it,

turn to him with repentance before the chance is lost,

Turn toward him in forgiveness before it is too late.

وارض عنه قبل أن يمسي رفات

وارض عنه قبل أن يمسي رفات

وأنله من مناه منتهاه

وأنله من مناه منتهاه

and be pleased with him before he becomes moldering remains.

And be pleased with him before he crumbles to dust.

Bring him to the furthest reach of all he longs for.

And grant him the utmost of his wishes.

نطلب الله دوام ان يبلغنا المرام

نطلب الله دوام ان يبلغنا المرام

فهو وهاب الجسام

فهو وهاب الجسام

We continually beseech God to let us attain our aim,

We continually ask God to let us attain our goal.

for He is the Bestower of mighty gifts.

For He is the lavish giver of great gifts.

عم جوده للتقاة والعصاه

عم جوده للتقاة والعصاه

ليس ييأس روحه إلا الشفاه

ليس ييأس روحه إلا الشفاه

His bounty encompasses the devout and the sinful alike;

His generosity extends to the pious and the disobedient.

only the lips despair of His mercy.

نسألك يارب غفران الذنوب

واعف عنا وامح عنا كل حوب

We ask You, O Lord, for forgiveness of sins;

pardon us, and wipe away every offense.

واهدنا للخير واكشف للكروب

لا تؤاخذنا بفضلك ياإله

Guide us toward goodness and lift our afflictions.

And guide us to goodness, and dispel afflictions.

Do not take us to task; by Your grace, O God.

واختم العمر بخير واحمنا من كل ضير

لا تولينا الغير

End our lives in goodness, and guard us from every harm.

And bring our life to a good end, and protect us from every harm.

Do not entrust us to anyone else.

Do not bring misfortunes upon us.

صلوات الله تغشى المصطفى

صلوات الله تغشى المصطفى

وعلى الأصحاب والآل الدعاء

وعلى الأصحاب والآل الدعاء

May God’s blessings enshroud the Chosen One,

May God's blessings enfold the Chosen One.

and upon the Companions and the Family, may prayers be.

And prayers for the Companions and the family.
