ياO ربLord ياO ربLord ياO معطيgiver الجزيلthe abundant الكثيرthe plentiful
يا رب يا رب يا معطي الجزيل الكثير
ياO ربLord ياO ربLord ياO معطيgiver العظيمthe great الكبيرthe immense
يا رب يا رب يا معطي العظيم الكبير
O Lord, O Lord, O Giver of abundant, plentiful bounty.
O Lord, O Lord, O Giver of bounty abundant
O Lord, O Lord, O Giver of great, immense bounty.
O Lord, O Lord, O Bestower of gifts magnificent
أسألكI ask You رحمةmercy عظيمةgreat للذميمfor the blameworthy one الحقيرthe lowly
أسألك رحمة عظيمة للذميم الحقير
بهاthrough it ينالhe attains الأمانيthe wishes جلهاthe great ones among them والصغيرand the small
بها ينال الأماني جلها والصغير
I ask You for great mercy for the blameworthy, lowly one.
I ask You for great mercy for the lowly insignificant one
Through it he attains his wishes, great and small.
With which he attains all his wishes, great and small
ياO ربLord ياO ربLord هبgrant ليto me فوقbeyond ماwhat فيin الضميرthe inner heart
يا رب يا رب هب لي فوق ما في الضمير
ياO ربLord ياO ربLord ياO منthe One who لهbelonging to Him إليهunto Him المصيرthe final return
يا رب يا رب يا من له إليه المصير
O Lord, O Lord, grant me more than what lies within my heart.
O Lord, O Lord, grant me more than what is in my conscience
O Lord, O Lord, O You to whom belongs the final return, and unto whom it leads.
O Lord, O Lord, to You is the final destiny
ياO ربLord أنتYou وكيليmy trustee والوليand the protector والنصيرand the helper
يا رب أنت وكيلي والولي والنصير
ياO ربLord يسرmake easy لناfor us اليسرىthe easy way وفكand unravel العسيرhardship
يا رب يسر لنا اليسرى وفك العسير
O Lord, You are my trustee, the protector and the helper.
O Lord, You are my Trustee, Guardian, and Helper
O Lord, make the easy way easy for us, and unravel hardship.
O Lord, facilitate ease for us and undo difficulty
واطلقand loosen قيوديmy bonds منfrom الأهواthe desires وحلand unbind الاسيرthe captive
واطلق قيودي من الأهوا وحل الاسير
إليكto You أشكوI complain وبكand in You ياO خالقيmy Creator أستجيرI seek refuge
إليك أشكو وبك يا خالقي أستجير
And loose my bonds of desire, and free the captive.
And release my shackles of desires and free the captive
To You I complain, and in You, O my Creator, I seek refuge.
To You I complain and in You, my Creator, I seek refuge
وحسنand the goodness ظنيmy expectation بفضلكin Your bounty ياO إلهيmy God غزيرabundant
وحسن ظني بفضلك يا إلهي غزير
فلاso do not تخيبdisappoint رجائيmy hope ياO السميعthe All-Hearing البصيرthe All-Seeing
فلا تخيب رجائي يا السميع البصير
And my hopeful trust in Your bounty, O my God, is abundant.
And have good expectations through Your abundant grace, my God
So do not disappoint my hope, O All-Hearing, All-Seeing.
So do not disappoint my hopes, O All-Hearing, All-Seeing
واختمand conclude بخيرwith goodness إذاwhen حانthe time comes السفرthe journey والمسيرand the departure
واختم بخير إذا حان السفر والمسير
وصلand send blessings ربLord علىupon الهاديthe guide البشيرthe bearer of glad tidings النذيرthe warner
وصل رب على الهادي البشير النذير
And grant a good ending when the time for journey and departure comes.
And conclude with goodness when the journey and passage is due
And bless, Lord, the guide, the bearer of glad tidings, the warner,
And send blessings upon the Guide, the Bearer of glad tidings and the Warner
والآلand the family والصحبand the companions تعدادas many as النعمthe livestock والحميرand the donkeys
والآل والصحب تعداد النعم والحمير
معwith السلامpeace الذيwhich مالهit has no شبيهlikeness أوor نظيرequal
مع السلام الذي ماله شبيه أو نظير
And his family and companions, as many times as there are livestock and donkeys,
And upon the Family and Companions, enumerating the blessings and the camels
With peace that has no likeness or equal.
With peace that has no equal or peer
والحمدللهand praise be to God حمداpraise ليسthere is not لهfor it منany أخيرend
والحمدلله حمدا ليس له من أخير
ندخلwe enter بهthrough it جنةthe Garden المأوىof Refuge ماno لهfor it شبيهlikeness أوor نظيرequal
ندخل به جنة المأوى ما له شبيه أو نظير
And praise be to God—a praise without end.
And all praise is for Allah, praise that has no end
Through it we enter the Garden of Refuge, which has no likeness or equal.
With it we will enter the Garden of Refuge that has no equal or peer
