محسن أحسن عسى ربك يجازيك بإحسان

محسن أحسن عسى ربك يجازيك بإحسان

واعمل الخير تحمد في عواقبك والآن

واعمل الخير تحمد في عواقبك والآن

Muhsin, do good; may your Lord reward you with goodness.

Oh Mohsen, excel and hopefully your Lord will reward you with kindness

And do good: you will be praised, in what lies ahead for you and now.

And do good, you will be praised for your consequences now

واطلب العلم واعمل به وكن خير إنسان

واطلب العلم واعمل به وكن خير إنسان

في الصلة للرحم بالمال في كل الأحيان

في الصلة للرحم بالمال في كل الأحيان

And seek knowledge, act upon it, and be the best of people

And seek knowledge and act upon it and be the best human

in maintaining kinship ties through wealth at all times,

In keeping ties of kinship, with wealth at all times

والصله للذي يجهل بتعليم الأديان

والصله للذي يجهل بتعليم الأديان

نعم تلك الصلة توصل لجنات رضوان

نعم تلك الصلة توصل لجنات رضوان

and in helping the ignorant by teaching matters of faith.

And reconcile with those ignorant by teaching religions

Yes, that gift leads to the gardens of divine pleasure.

Yes, those ties lead to the gardens of contentment

ذه صله باقيه تبقى معه بعد الأكفان

ذه صله باقيه تبقى معه بعد الأكفان

ذه صله تنفع الإنسان من حرنيران

ذه صله تنفع الإنسان من حرنيران

This is an enduring gift that stays with him beyond the burial shrouds.

Those are lasting ties that remain after shrouds

This gift protects a person from the heat of fires.

Those ties benefit man from hellfire

ذه من الباقيات الصالحه ذي لها شان

ذه من الباقيات الصالحه ذي لها شان

فادع يامحسن القاصي إليها مع الدان

فادع يامحسن القاصي إليها مع الدان

This is among the enduring righteous deeds of great worth.

Those are lasting good deeds, they are of high status

So call, O Muhsin, those far and near to it.

So call, Oh Mohsen, to them along with the close and far

واسلك أسلك طريق الصالحين أهل الأديان

واسلك أسلك طريق الصالحين أهل الأديان

أهل علم الشريعه والحقيقه والإيمان

أهل علم الشريعه والحقيقه والإيمان

And follow—follow—the path of the righteous, people of faith,

And walk the path of the righteous, people of religions

those versed in sacred law, spiritual truth, and faith.

The people of knowledge of the Sharia, truth and faith

واقرا أحيا علوم الدين واعرفه عرفان

واقرا أحيا علوم الدين واعرفه عرفان

واتخذه دليلا في مسيرك وربان

واتخذه دليلا في مسيرك وربان

And read The Revival of the Religious Sciences, and understand it thoroughly.

And revive the knowledge of religion and know it deeply

And take it as a guide on your journey, and as a helmsman,

And take it as a guide in your journey, Lord

في قدومك وأحجامك بقلبك والأركان

في قدومك وأحجامك بقلبك والأركان

لا تخالفه في شيء كن معه أينما كان

لا تخالفه في شيء كن معه أينما كان

in your advancing and holding back, with your heart and limbs.

In your coming and going, in your heart and pillars

Do not oppose it in anything; stay with it wherever it may be.

Do not oppose it in anything, be with it wherever you are

مذهب أسلاف سادوابه على الإنس والجان

مذهب أسلاف سادوابه على الإنس والجان

واذكر الله يذكرك العلى عالي الشان

واذكر الله يذكرك العلى عالي الشان

The way of forebears who, through it, held sway over humankind and jinn.

A doctrine predecessors succeeded with over humans and Jinn

And remember God: the Most High, lofty in majesty, will remember you.

And remember Allah, the Exalted, Most High, will mention you

واذكر الله تحظى من إلهك بغفران

واذكر الله تحظى من إلهك بغفران

واذكر الله تجزى كل خير وإحسان

واذكر الله تجزى كل خير وإحسان

And remember God: you will gain forgiveness from your God.

And remember Allah, you will be rewarded with forgiveness from your God

And remember God: you will be rewarded with all goodness and benevolence.

And remember Allah, you will be rewarded for all good and kindness

واذكر الله يغرس لك شجرثمر هادان

واذكر الله يغرس لك شجرثمر هادان

واذكرالله تجزى كل خير وإحسان

واذكرالله تجزى كل خير وإحسان

And remember God: He plants for you trees whose fruit hangs within reach.

And remember Allah, He will plant for you a fruitful and guiding tree

And remember God: you will be rewarded with all goodness and benevolence.

And remember Allah, you will be rewarded for all good and kindness

من نسى ربه جازاه به بنسيان

من نسى ربه جازاه به بنسيان

ياعظيم المواهب يارحيم ورحمن

ياعظيم المواهب يارحيم ورحمن

Whoever forgets his Lord, He repays him for it by forgetting him.

He who forgets His Lord, He will punish him with forgetting

O You whose gifts are great, O Merciful and All-Merciful One,

Oh You of great gifts, Oh Merciful and Compassionate

ياجزيل العطايا ياكريما ومنان

ياجزيل العطايا ياكريما ومنان

ياسميع الدعا يافرد غفار حنان

ياسميع الدعا يافرد غفار حنان

O You lavish in gifts, O Generous One and Bestower,

Oh You of abundant gifts, Oh Noble and Benevolent

O Hearer of prayer, O Unique One, Ever-Forgiving, Compassionate,

Oh You who answers prayers, Oh Singular, Forgiving, and Tender

اختم العمر بالحسنى وخير وإيمان

اختم العمر بالحسنى وخير وإيمان

لي وأهلي وأولادي وصحبى وإخوان

لي وأهلي وأولادي وصحبى وإخوان

Bring life to its close with the best outcome, goodness, and faith,

Conclude my life with goodness, virtue and faith

for me, my family, my children, my companions, and brethren.

For me, my family, my children, my companions and brothers

واهدنا واكفنا ياربنا كل عدوان

واهدنا واكفنا ياربنا كل عدوان

واعطنا السؤل والمطلوب بالواحد المان

واعطنا السؤل والمطلوب بالواحد المان

And guide us, and shield us, O our Lord, from every aggression.

And guide us and spare us, Our Lord, from all animosity

And grant us what we ask and seek, by the One, the Bestower.

And grant us what we ask and wish from the One, Eternal

واعف عنا ونق القلب من كل الأدران

واعف عنا ونق القلب من كل الأدران

طهر القلب من شك وغش ومن ران

طهر القلب من شك وغش ومن ران

And pardon us, and cleanse the heart of every stain.

And pardon us, and purify the heart from all grudges

Purify the heart of doubt, deceit, and rust.

Purify the heart from doubt, deceit and cunning

طهر القلب من كل المعايب وعصيان

طهر القلب من كل المعايب وعصيان

واحفظ القول من زوروافك وبهتان

واحفظ القول من زوروافك وبهتان

Purify the heart of every fault and disobedience.

Purify the heart from all vices and disobedience

And guard speech against falsehood, fabrication, and slander,

And guard speech from lies, slander and false accusations

واغتياب ومن كل المعاصي والأركان

واغتياب ومن كل المعاصي والأركان

كلها كن لها حافظ بفضلك والإحسان

كلها كن لها حافظ بفضلك والإحسان

and backbiting, and against every sin; as for the limbs,

And backbiting, and from all sins and pillars

all of them—be their guardian through Your grace and benevolence.

Guard them all, by Your grace and favor

وامنن امنن بتوبه موجبه كل عرفان

وامنن امنن بتوبه موجبه كل عرفان

ماحيه للقبائح مثبته كل مازان

ماحيه للقبائح مثبته كل مازان

And grant—grant—repentance that brings full spiritual understanding,

And favor, favor with a repentance warranting all devotion

erasing ugly deeds and establishing all that adorns,

Reviving virtues, establishing all balance

موجبه الاستقامه في مقامات الإيقان

موجبه الاستقامه في مقامات الإيقان

واتباع النبي الهادي بسر وإعلان

واتباع النبي الهادي بسر وإعلان

bringing steadfastness in the stations of certainty,

Warranting uprightness in the stations of certainty

and following the guiding Prophet, in secret and openly.

And following the guiding Prophet secretly and openly

صل ربي عليه كلما فجر قدبان

صل ربي عليه كلما فجر قدبان

والصحابه وآله والذي دينهم دان

والصحابه وآله والذي دينهم دان

My Lord, bestow blessings upon him whenever dawn appears,

Bless him my Lord, whenever dawn rises

and upon the Companions, his family, and whoever professes their faith.

And his companions, his family and those who followed their faith
