Sol 6.1

  1. لأنها اوزار فيها الضرر والأضرار

    والزور والعار والآفات والأكدار

    For they are burdens of sin, filled with harm and injury,

    And falsehood, shame, afflictions, and sorrows,

  2. والخزي والنار

    هل يرضى بذا الأخيار

    And disgrace and the Fire.

    Would the righteous be pleased with this?

  3. يا بخت من مال

    عنهم فاز بالآمال

    How fortunate the one who turns away

    From them—he has attained his hopes.

  4. إن قلت بالخير قالوا له مطالب غير

    أو مسهم ضير جعلوا غيرهم له طير

    If I speak for what is good, they say, 'He has other aims.'

    Or if harm befalls them, they make others its birds of ill omen.

  5. ما سار والسير ذي ساروا به أهل الخير

    يا رب ياوال سلمنا من الأهوال

    They have not walked the path the righteous walked.

    O Lord, O Protector, keep us safe from terrors.

  6. ذا فصل والثان

    بانطلب عظيم الشان

    This is one section; the second:

    We shall beseech the One of exalted majesty

  7. إن يصلح الشان

    يكفي حاسدي والشان

    That He set matters right,

    And shield me from my envier and the one who hates me.

  8. تختم بإيمان

    لي والأهل والإخوان

    May it end in faith,

    For me, my family, and my brothers.

  9. إن يصلح الشان

    يكفي حاسدي والشان

    That He set matters right,

    And shield me from my envier and the one who hates me.

    لي والأهل والإخوان

    May it end in faith,

    For me, my family, and my brothers.

  11. تكون في حال

    ما نحشر على أحسن حال

    May it be so at the time

    When we are gathered in the best of states.
