1. أدركوني أدركوني

    قبل ما تغلق رهوني

    Come to my aid, come to my aid,

    Before my pledges are forfeited.

  2. واغفر واذنبي ووزري

    واستروني وارحموني

    And forgive my sin and my burden,

    And veil me and have mercy on me.

  3. يا أهيل الفضل منوا

    أصلحوا فضلا شؤني

    O dear people of grace, bestow your favor;

    Out of kindness, set my affairs right.

  4. واجبروني واقبلوني

    واعذروني وارفعوني

    And mend me and accept me,

    And excuse me and raise me up.

  5. إنني عبد فقير

    ومعيب فاصلحوني

    Indeed, I am a poor servant,

    And flawed—so set me right.

  6. يا أهيل الجود منا

    منكم أن تحرسوني

    O dear people of generosity, a favor

    From you: that you watch over me.

  7. وارفقوا بي والطفوا بي

    سادتي لا تهملوني

    And be gentle with me and kind to me,

    My masters, do not neglect me.

  8. يا أولي المعروف جودا

    سايروني واحفوظني

    O people of kindness, show generosity:

    Accompany me and protect me.

  9. إنني كلي عيوب

    وذنوب فاستروني

    Indeed, I am all faults

    And sins—so veil me.

  10. يا أهيل الصفح صفحا

    وافرا فوق الظنون

    O dear people of pardon, grant a pardon

    Abundant beyond all expectation.

  11. أرتجيكم يا رجائي

    بالفضائل تعمروني

    I look to you in hope, O my hope,

    That you fill me with virtues.

  12. واختموا بالخير عمري

    عند ماتد نومنوني

    And seal my life with goodness

    When my death draws near.

  13. والصلاة والسلام

    عد تحريك الغصون

    And may blessings and peace,

    As numerous as the stirrings of the boughs,

  14. يغشيان الهادي أحمد

    قرنه خير القرون

    Envelop the guide, Ahmad;

    His generation is the best of generations.
