يارب يارب جيناطا معين

يارب يارب جينا طالبين

O Lord, O Lord, we have come in hope.

O Lord, O Lord, we have come seeking.

قل بالمطالب رجعتم فايزين

وقد صلح شانكم دنيا ودين

Say: you have returned successful in what you sought,

And your affairs have been set right in worldly life and faith.

لا باجتهاد ولا كسب اليمين

إلا بمحض الكرم ياسامعين

Not through striving, nor the earnings of the right hand,

But through sheer generosity, O listeners,

فضلا من الله رب العالمين

فلا تخيب رجانا يامعين

A favor from God, Lord of all worlds.

So do not disappoint our hope, O Helper.

وهب لنا الصبر بالله واليقين

واحينا يا إلهي شاكرين

And grant us patience through God, and certainty.

And let us live, O my God, giving thanks.

وكن لنار بنا في كل حين

لا سيما عندما يحمي الجبين

And be there for us, our Lord, at every moment,

Especially when the brow grows hot.

توفنا يا إلهي مؤمنين

نبعث ونحشر من الخوف آمنين

Take us in death, O my God, as believers.

May we be resurrected and gathered, safe from fear.

ندخل مع الأنبيا والسابقين

والأوليا والكرام الصالحين

May we enter with the prophets and the foremost,

And the saints and the noble righteous ones.

طلبتك الله لم أطلب ضنين

لست أبالي بقول المنكرين

I have sought You, O God; I have not sought a miser.

I do not care about the words of the deniers.

وصل ربي على الهادي الأمين

ختم النبيين خير الشافعين

And send blessings, my Lord, upon the trustworthy guide,

The seal of the prophets, the best of intercessors,

والآل والصحب والتابعين

مع السلام على مر السنين

And his household, his companions, and the followers,

With peace, throughout the passing years.
