Praise be to God; my expectation of the Beautiful One is good.
Praise be to Allah, my hopes for kindness are kind
And my hope in God's bounty is vast and enduring.
And I have great hopes for Allah's abundant, long favor

المحسن المفضل المعطي العطايا يا الجزيل
And how could it be otherwise, when it rests in God, the Generous, the Guarantor?
And why not when He is the Generous Guarantor
The Beneficent, the Bestower of favor, the Giver of gifts—O Bountiful One!
The Benefactor, Favored, Giver of bounties, O Most Generous

Glory be to my Lord, exalted above any likeness or equal.
Glory be to my Lord, exalted above any equal or peer
He suffices me; to Him I turn, and I seek no substitute for my Lord.
Sufficient for me is to Him, for I do not want any substitute for my Lord

How often He has been generous to you all, returning with bounty pouring in torrents!
How generous you are, goodness pours down in floods
So all benevolence comes from Him, small and great alike.
From Him all kindness, minute and great

Blessed is Allah, no one can count His praise, it is said
O Lord, grant Your pardon to the lowly, abject servant.
O Lord, Your pardon on the lowly, humiliated slave

For I hope for nothing but full, gracious pardon.
For I hope for nothing but the gracious, faithful pardon
As for my salvation through my deeds, that is impossible.
As for my salvation through my deeds, it is impossible
