Upon a black, smooth-gaited steed,
An Adhami himlaj horse

Tightly built, not given

Like an unsheathed blade
He has swiftness of stride.
Swift to charge

Lift worry from me with him,
Drive away my cares with him
And do not delight in distressing me;
Be not niggardly with him

I sought you out for the saddle
Except after being hard pressed.
Only after much grief
