أَتاني قَريض كَنَظم الجُمان

وَرَوض الجِنان وَأَمنِ الفُؤاد

وَرَوض الجِنان وَأَمنِ الفُؤاد

Verse came to me like a string of pearls,

And the meadows of paradise and peace of heart,

وَعَهد الصِبا وَنَسيم الصَبا

وَعَهد الصِبا وَنَسيم الصَبا

وَبَرد الفُؤاد وَطيب الرقاد

وَبَرد الفُؤاد وَطيب الرقاد

And the days of youth and the east wind’s breeze,

And coolness of heart and the sweetness of sleep.
