كَأَنَّ اِنجِلاءَ اللَيل عَن وَجهِ صُبحِهِ

نُصولُ خِضاب كانَ ستر نصوع

نُصولُ خِضاب كانَ ستر نصوع

As though the night’s lifting from the face of its dawn

were the fading of dye that had veiled pure whiteness.
