وَلَوand if نَشرَcame back to life النَبيُّthe Prophet لَكُنتُI would be مِنهُwith him
وَلَو نَشرَ النَبيُّ لَكُنتُ مِنهُ
مَكانَin the place of أَبيAbu هُرَيرةHurayra غَيرَwithout مينfalsehood
مَكانَ أَبي هُرَيرة غَيرَ مين
And if the Prophet came back to life, I would be with him
Had the Prophet spread out his robe
In Abu Hurayra’s place, without a lie.
I would have been under it instead of Abū Hurayrah,
أَلَحَّhe persisted زيارةin visiting ليلفso that he might find زاداًprovisions
أَلَحَّ زيارة ليلف زاداً
مُعداًprepared لابنfor the son of فاطمةFatima الحُسينal-Husayn
مُعداً لابن فاطمة الحُسين
He persisted in visiting to find provisions
Eagerly visiting to tie provisions
Prepared for Fatima’s son, al-Husayn.
Prepared for the son of Fāṭimah, al-Ḥusayn
