النبي خير البشر
منthe one who لهfor him شُقwas split القمرthe moon
من له شُق القمر
The Prophet is the best of humankind,
The Prophet is the best of mankind
The one for whom the moon was split.
Whose miracle split the moon
مَنwhoever صلىsends blessings عليهupon him يرقىrises
مَن صلى عليه يرقى
فيin الدارينboth worlds بهthrough him حقّاtruly
في الدارين به حقّا
Whoever sends blessings upon him rises
Whoever prays upon him shall ascend
In both worlds through him, truly.
In both abodes, with him in truth
يبقىremains مسرورjoyful قدindeed غَفَرhas forgiven
يبقى مسرور قد غَفَر
ذنبهhis sin ربthe Lord of البشرhumankind
ذنبه رب البشر
He remains joyful, for He has forgiven
Shall remain joyful, his sins forgiven
His sin—the Lord of humankind.
