The full moons peered forth from the boughs,
The buds emerged from the branches,
and that revealed my guarded passion.
Exposing my hidden passion.

From the darkness of my glances I became bright,
assailing the heart from the eyelids.
Raging inside my heart from my eyelids.

I was struck by the morning from my forehead,
but dawn from the brow overtook me.
Though I tried to hide in the night of my hair.

Circling endlessly in my eyelids.

I concealed my passion in my faithful heart.

So my passion in my heart lies hidden,

Ambush within ambush within ambush.

Passion has exhausted my skin, and left
my liver's burning anguish; and my sorrows have wasted me.
The burning of my liver and the groans of my ribs.

When they engaged in the arts!
