The guiding Prophet grew
مَنthe one who نطقspoke لهfor him الغزالthe gazelle
مَن نطق له الغزال
فيin الواديthe valley
في الوادي
for whom the gazelle spoke
For whom the gazelle spoke
in the valley.
In the valley
الهاديthe guide رسولmessenger اللَهGod
الهادي رسول اللَه
مَنthe one who عليهupon him سلامpeace اللَهGod
مَن عليه سلام اللَه
The guide, God's Messenger,
The guide, Allah's Messenger
upon whom is God's peace.
Upon whom be Allah's peace
القمرthe moon لهfor him انقسمsplit
القمر له انقسم
نصفينinto two halves
نصفين
The moon split for him
The moon split in two
into two halves.
Halves for him
والمياهand the waters لهfor him جرتflowed
والمياه له جرت
منfrom الكفّينthe two palms
من الكفّين
And for him the waters flowed
And the water flowed
from both palms.
From between his palms
سبّحglorified الحصىthe pebbles للّهto God
سبّح الحصى للّه
فيin كفّهhis palm بإذنby permission of اللَهGod
في كفّه بإذن اللَه
The pebbles glorified God
The pebbles glorified Allah
in his palm, by God's permission.
In his palm by Allah's command
البشيرthe bearer of glad tidings والشفيعand the intercessor
البشير والشفيع
فيat الحشرthe Resurrection gathering
في الحشر
The bearer of glad tidings and the intercessor
The bearer of good news and interceder
at the Resurrection gathering,
On the Day of Resurrection
يلتقيmeets الخائفينthe fearful
يلتقي الخائفين
بالبشرwith cheerfulness
بالبشر
meets the fearful
Where the fearful will meet
with cheerfulness.
With good news
صاحبpossessor of المقامthe station والجاهand prestige
صاحب المقام والجاه
مَنthe one who عليهupon him صلىbestowed blessings اللَهGod
مَن عليه صلى اللَه
He of high station and prestige,
The one of high status and glory
upon whom God has bestowed blessings.
Upon whom Allah sent blessings
