تمّتwould be fulfilled لناfor us بالهناin bliss منهاfrom her الإراداتthe wishes
تمّت لنا بالهنا منها الإرادات
O gazelle, if she should one day come to our dwellings,
our wishes would be fulfilled through her in bliss.
وكانand it would be ذاthis أسعدhappiest الأيامthe days ياO أمليmy hope
وكان ذا أسعد الأيام يا أملي
وكيفand how لاnot وبهand with it جاءتcame سعاداتjoys
وكيف لا وبه جاءت سعادات
And this would be the happiest of days, O my hope;
and how could it not, when joys came with it?
