Adorned with the beauty of meadows in bloom

Upon it is a yellow robe of surpassing splendor,

Wearing a yellow robe that shines

Of silk, delighting those who gaze.

Delighting all who see the silk

يسير بموكب قد رقّ فيه

يسير بموكب قد رقّ فيه

يُذكّرني به يوم الطهور

يُذكّرني به يوم الطهور

It moves in a procession, grown delicate in its midst;

He walks in a procession gracefully moving

The day of circumcision reminds me of it.

Reminding me of the day of purity

إذا ما سار يوماً بالتهاني

إذا ما سار يوماً بالتهاني

تُدقّ له البشائر في المسير

تُدقّ له البشائر في المسير

When one day it proceeds amid congratulations,

When he once walked with congratulations

Celebratory drums are beaten for it along the way.

Good tidings rang out along his way

وتُبدي الشوق زينته سروراً

وتُبدي الشوق زينته سروراً

ليُبدي إلهنا شرح الصدور

ليُبدي إلهنا شرح الصدور

And its adornment joyfully reveals longing,

And longing displayed its joy

That our God may reveal the opening of hearts.

For our God to gladden all hearts

أعاد اللَه ذلك كل عام

مع السرّاء في طول الدهور

May God bring that back every year,
