When I die, bury me in soft, level sand,
Where the gazelle herd reaches up to browse and wild-ox calves play.
وَفاحَand wafted fragrantly سُحَيريُّthe dawn breath of الصِّباthe east wind مِنfrom خَلائِقيmy character

And the east wind’s dawn breath wafted from my character
A fragrance keener and sweeter than its own.
