Kings who seize kingdoms by force,
Kings who seize kingdoms by force
with brown, lofty spears or bright, keen-edged swords.
With spears of lofty heights or bows of archers
رماحٌspears بأَيديهمin their hands طوالٌlong كأَنَّماas though
رماحٌ بأَيديهم طوالٌ كأَنَّما
أَرادُواthey intended بهاwith them تثقيبَpiercing دُرِّthe pearls of الكَواكِبthe stars
أَرادُوا بها تثقيبَ دُرِّ الكَواكِب
