لاdo not تلوميblame العذَّالthe reproachers منfor أَجْلِthe sake of عَذْلِيreproaching me
لا تلومي العذَّال من أَجْلِ عَذْلِي
وابْسُطِيand set forth عُذْرهمtheir excuse جميعاًall of them وعُذْريand my excuse
وابْسُطِي عُذْرهم جميعاً وعُذْري
Do not blame the reproachers for reproaching me,
Do not blame the blamers for blaming me
And set forth the excuses of them all, and my own.
And extend pardon to them all, and to me
أَناI واللهِby God أَقْتَضِيI seek منهُمُfrom them العَذْthe reproach (word begins here)
أَنا واللهِ أَقْتَضِي منهُمُ العَذْ
لَ(completes 'reproach') لِعلْمِيbecause I know بأَنَّهُthat it فيكَfor you يُغْرِيincites desire
لَ لِعلْمِي بأَنَّهُ فيكَ يُغْرِي
I, by God, seek reproach from them,
By God, I ask pardon from them
For I know it makes me more enamored of you.
Because I know that towards you they are tempted
