أَسْعِدانيConsole me, you two فقدfor indeed مَضَتhave passed ساعتانtwo hours
أَسْعِداني فقد مَضَت ساعتان
وحبيبيand my beloved منbecause of تِيههhis haughtiness ماnot أَتَانِيcame to me
وحبيبي من تِيهه ما أَتَانِي
Console me, you two, for two hours have passed,
Two hours have passed, and gladdened me,
and my beloved, in his haughtiness, has not come to me.
My lover from his lostness has not come to me,
وَصْلُهُunion with him مَاnot يَفُوتُis lost إِنif لمnot يصلْنيhe joins me
وَصْلُهُ مَا يَفُوتُ إِن لم يصلْني
بالتًّلاقيthrough meeting واصلْتُهI join him بالأَمَانِيthrough wishes
بالتًّلاقي واصلْتُه بالأَمَانِي
Union with him never eludes me: if he does not join me
His union will not miss me if he does not join me,
in a meeting, I join him in my wishes.
With meeting him I have connected in my dreams.
