من لَيْلِه قد بَقِيت سَاعَةٌ

وطرفُه يَرْتَقِبُ الأَنْجُمَا

An hour of his night still remains,

One hour remains of his night

And his gaze watches the stars,

And his eyelids await the stars

عساه أَن يُبصِرَ محبوبَهُ

عساه أَن يُبصِرَ محبوبَهُ

لأَنَّه بَعْضُ نُجُوم السَّما

لأَنَّه بَعْضُ نُجُوم السَّما

Hoping that he may see his beloved,

May he behold his beloved

For he is one of the stars of heaven.

For he is a star in the sky
