فقد ألهمت أن المسير على هدى
Let the pale camels fold up the desert and reach their goal;
Let the young gazelle roam free in the meadows
for they have been inspired to know that their journey follows true guidance.
For you have been inspired that the journey is guided

Indeed, their purpose has spared them anyone to draw them onward by night,
You have been satisfied with purpose over the pull of destiny
just as longing has interceded for them, sparing them the chanting driver.
Just as yearning has interceded over the driver of limit

They traveled by night and found in night travel the sweetness of a resting-place,
You walked and saw the sweetness of celebration in the journey
and deemed the thirst of daylong travel through the five-day watering cycle a watering-place.

I count for them, while grasping them with my fingertips,
I prepare for it with my fingers
a favor whenever they stretch a foreleg toward Yathrib.
A hand whenever it throws towards Yathrib, a hand

And among all days I have never seen a day as blessed
And I have not seen in the days a blessed day
for me as the day on which I visited Muhammad.
Upon me like the day I visited Muhammad
