قَدalready خَرَجنَاwe have gone out بِنِيَّةِwith the intention of الغَيثِrain نَستَسwe pray for rain (word begins)
قَد خَرَجنَا بِنِيَّةِ الغَيثِ نَستَس
قِيcontinuation of the preceding word وَقَدand already أَوحَشَتhave grown desolate وُجُوهُthe faces of البِلاَدِthe land
قِي وَقَد أَوحَشَت وُجُوهُ البِلاَدِ
We have gone out, intent on rain, to pray
We set out with the intention of rain, seeking drink
for rain, while the faces of the land have grown desolate.
Yet the faces of the land have become desolate
