وَنَسِيَand he forgot الحَمدَpraise فَمَاso not
وَنَسِيَ الحَمدَ فَمَا
مَرَّتpassed لَهُfor him عَلَىupon خَلَدmind
مَرَّت لَهُ عَلَى خَلَد
And he forgot praise, so it never
He who forgets to give thanks
crossed his mind.
Will find no solace for his soul
