أقُولُI say لِمنto whoever يُسَائِلُasks عَنabout مَحَلِّيmy dwelling
أقُولُ لِمن يُسَائِلُ عَن مَحَلِّي
تَقَدَّمgo forward وَامشِand walk مِنfrom خَلفِbehind السَّوارِيthe columns
تَقَدَّم وَامشِ مِن خَلفِ السَّوارِي
I say to whoever asks about my dwelling:
I say to one who asks where I reside,
Go forward and walk behind the columns;
Advance along the wrist behind the bracelets.
وَمُرَّand go on فَحَيثُthen where مَاever (forming 'wherever') تَلقَىyou feel حِكَاكاًan itch
وَمُرَّ فَحَيثُ مَا تَلقَى حِكَاكاً
بِسُرمِكَin your anus لاَdo not تَعَدَّgo beyond فَثَمَّfor there دَارِيmy home
بِسُرمِكَ لاَ تَعَدَّ فَثَمَّ دَارِي
And go on; wherever you feel an itch
And pass wherever you encounter a narrative
In your anus, go no farther, for there is my home.
About your necklace; do not transgress, for there is my abode.
