Who will aid a lovesick man touched by overwhelming grief,
I am enslaved by intense love
and a heart whose fortitude has failed it because of you?
And my heart is weakened by you

I am a captive, and I have no hope of ransom,
I am a captive with no hope of ransom
and ill, yet I have not been visited.
And I am sick though I have not relapsed

The languor of your eyelids is what clothed me
The sickness of your eyes made me wear
