لازلت تنتهك العدى

بالذابل العسال في الأحشاء والأكباد

May you never cease to overpower your foes

You still violate justice

With the slender, quivering spear in their entrails and livers.

With the withered honey in our hearts and livers

ووقيت من صرف الردى

ووقيت من صرف الردى

والنازل المغتال بالأعداء والحساد

And may you be shielded from the vicissitudes of death

And I am protected from misfortune

And the calamity descending upon enemies and enviers, slaying them unawares.
