you a sign of affectation.

And what has shown of my passion

You beguiled me with the surface

of an adorned cheek:

وجنةٌ مثل ما يصف

a cheek like a mingling

of water with wine.

فمتى يكمل العذا

فمتى يكمل العذا

ر عليها وأشتفي

When, then, will the cheek-down grow full

upon it, and I find relief?
