سَلَبتْhave robbed محاسُنكَyour charms الغزالَthe gazelle صفاتِهof its qualities
سَلَبتْ محاسُنكَ الغزالَ صفاتِه
حتىuntil تحيرَwas bewildered كلُّevery ظبيٍgazelle فيكَاby you
حتى تحيرَ كلُّ ظبيٍ فيكَا
Your charms have robbed the gazelle of its qualities,
Your beauty robbed the gazelle of its traits
Until every gazelle was bewildered by you.
So that every doe in you is perplexed
لكَyours are جيدُهُits neck ولحاظُهُand its glances ونِفَارُهُand its skittishness
لكَ جيدُهُ ولحاظُهُ ونِفَارُهُ
وغداًand tomorrow تَصيرُwill become قُرونُهits horns لاto (part of the split phrase 'to your father') بيكَاyour father
وغداً تَصيرُ قُرونُه لا بيكَا
Yours are its neck, its glances, and its skittishness;
For you have its neck, glance, and charm
And tomorrow its horns will belong to your father.
And tomorrow its horns will be for your makeup
