لقِبلةtoward the qibla (prayer direction) of الحُسْنِbeauty واعذرنىand excuse me علىfor السهرِsleeplessness
لقِبلة الحُسْنِ واعذرنى على السهرِ
Turn aside to the beloved's sanctuary, standing upright
Lean towards the sanctuary of the beloved erect
Facing beauty's qibla, and excuse me for my sleeplessness.
For the kiss of beauty, forgive me for staying up
وانظرand look الىat الخالthe mole فوقabove الثغرِthe mouth دونwithout لمىًa dusky lip-tint
وانظر الى الخال فوق الثغرِ دون لمىً
تجدyou will find بِلالاBilal يراعىwatching for الصبحَdawn فيin السَّحَرِthe predawn hours
تجد بِلالا يراعى الصبحَ في السَّحَرِ
