بفيكَ ولا تبخل وقل لى هي الخمرُ

Ah, then give me a drink of wine whose taste is delightful,

With your mouth; do not be stingy, and tell me, 'It is wine.'

وحُطَّ لِثاماً حَجَّبَ اللثمَ عن فمى

وحُطَّ لِثاماً حَجَّبَ اللثمَ عن فمى

فَلا خيرَ في اللذاتِ من دونها سِترُ

فَلا خيرَ في اللذاتِ من دونها سِترُ

And lower a veil that has kept kisses from my mouth,

For there is no good in pleasures when a veil stands before them.
