بِدَوامِعٍwith streaming tears لَمnot تَمرِهاdraw them forth الأَقذاءُthe specks
بِدَوامِعٍ لَم تَمرِها الأَقذاءُ
Smiling with flashes, weeping
Smiling with radiant flashes, frowning
With streaming tears that no specks had drawn forth.
With tears the hungry wolves have never known
لَوif كانَhad been فيin لُجَجِdeep waters السَواحِلِthe shores ماؤهُits water
لَو كانَ في لُجَجِ السَواحِلِ ماؤهُ
لَمnot يَبقَremain فيin لُجَجِdeep waters السَواحِلِthe shores ماءُwater
لَم يَبقَ في لُجَجِ السَواحِلِ ماءُ
Had its water been in the deep waters along the shores,
If in the rugged shores his tears were found
No water would have remained in the deep waters along the shores.
No water in those rugged shores is found
