رَعىhe grazed غَيرَnot مَذعورٍfrightened بِهُنَّamong them وَراقَهُand it delighted him
رَعى غَيرَ مَذعورٍ بِهُنَّ وَراقَهُ
لُعاعٌtender herbage تَهاداهُthey offered it to one another الدَكادِكُthe low sandy mounds واعِدُpromising
لُعاعٌ تَهاداهُ الدَكادِكُ واعِدُ
He grazed among them unafraid, and was delighted
He herds them unafraid of their beauty though it leaves him infatuated,
by tender, promising herbage that the low sandy mounds offered one another.
A glance that caresses him back and forth like a swaying branch.
