Sweet are the east wind’s fragrance and the morning hour,
The morning breeze spreads its fragrance,
and the season of youth, and union with the fair.
And the time of youth and dawn has come.

Do you not see the gardens, since the clouds wept over them,
Since the rain clouds wept over it
how they laugh, baring the mouths of daisies?
How can the garden now laugh with blooms?

What respite has my heart from passion?

and avoid mixing it with pure water:
But mix it not with bitter tears.
