He is a mountain of knowledge, unrivaled in loftiness,
He is a mountain of knowledge that cannot be challenged in loftiness
And an ocean of excellence, ever vast.

A beacon who, when others' sound judgments go astray,
A scholar, when others err, who shows us

And to him merit freely handed over its difficult reins
And willingly drew near to him, though it had been far away.
And drew near to him voluntarily though it had been distant
