فَيرحمني اللاحي لِفَرطِ نواحِ
I wail in anguish in the environs of Nawah;
so my reprover pities me for my excessive wailing.

So when they journeyed away, I knew not whether my weeping arose from
a reprover’s compassion or the departure of fair ones.
