O clouds of April, water the vineyards,
O April clouds, water the vineyards,
So their wine may quench the thirst of the noblest.
To water their noble wine for us.

If raindrops could choose what to be,
Pure wine, then let it not be precious pearls.
They'd rather be precious pearls than pouring rain.
