عَلىat بابِthe door of ابنِson of مَعصومٍMa‘sum أَنَخناwe made our camels kneel
عَلى بابِ ابنِ مَعصومٍ أَنَخنا
فَفُزناso we won بالنَجاةwith deliverance وبالنَجاحِand with success
فَفُزنا بالنَجاة وبالنَجاحِ
At Ibn Ma‘sum’s door we made our camels kneel,
We knocked at the door of the son of Ma'sum
And so we won deliverance and success.
So we succeeded in salvation and success
هوhe ابنُson of عَطاءٍ‘Ata’ المُعطيthe giver كَثيراًabundantly
هو ابنُ عَطاءٍ المُعطي كَثيراً
لناto us منfrom جودِهhis bounty ابنَO son of أَبيAbu (father of) رَباحِRabah
لنا من جودِه ابنَ أَبي رَباحِ
He is Ibn ‘Ata’, who gives abundantly
He is the son of 'Ata the generous giver
To us from his bounty, O Ibn Abi Rabah.
Who gave us abundantly from his benevolence, the son of Abi Rabah
