Your servant congratulates you on the month and the ten days,

and on the feast, the Feast of Sacrifice, O peerless one of the age.

May the feasts never cease to come to your door,

answering the call, hastening on gratitude's foot,

and unveil the face of praise, ever remaining

fragrant of breath and smiling of mouth.

And may they ever greet your enemies with frowns,

and meet you with a cheerful face and gladness.

And through you the days have grown more beautiful and shone

with your radiant countenance, O visage of the full moon.

And they have shown delight in felicity and joy,

and now strut in robes of green.

And they have unfurled what of theirs had been folded away,

and come hastening to you, sweet in fragrance.

So bring forward for bounty's rain whoever has come to you in sincere friendship,

and whoever harbors deceit, hold him back for slaughter.

The feast is congratulated on having you, for you are its feast,

and unveils the face of joy and gladness.

So, my lord, at this feast, adorn your servant with favors,

for the loveliest thing fine robes reveal is at the throat.

For you are her excellent guardian, and the best of those

who care for orphans, O peerless one of the age.

And take her as a bride: she has come to you an orphan.

So reward her, and be generous with the bridal gift and dower.

So may you ever climb, rising in the sky of glory,

and may your auspicious bird soar above the eagle.

And may you ever be a sea, richly generous in giving,

vast, swift to give in hardship and ease.

And may you endure through all days, as long as the east wind blows,

and as long as dawn's breeze perfumes the sanctuary's meadow.
