وليث الوغى السامي بكل فخار

O my lord Qaitbay, O vanquisher of foes,

My Amulay Qaytbay, oh vanquisher of enemies

And lion of battle, exalted in every glory,

Fierce lion in battle, exalted with pride

أعد لاخذ الثار بيضا قواضبا

أعد لاخذ الثار بيضا قواضبا

وأضرم بها نارا كسبك سوار

وأضرم بها نارا كسبك سوار

Prepare keen white blades to exact revenge,

Prepare to take vengeance, strong white ships

And kindle with them a fire, as for casting a bracelet.

Set them aflame, for they have wronged you
