مولاي قد وافاك دمعي سائلا

My lord, my tears have reached you, flowing in supplication.

My Master, my tearful prayers have come to you,

And the cloud of your bounty rains down noble gifts.

And the clouds of your generosity rain blessings.

وندى يمينك من عطايا حاتم

وندى يمينك من عطايا حاتم

اوفى واوفر بالنوال واكثر

اوفى واوفر بالنوال واكثر

And the dew of your right hand, compared with Hatim's gifts,

The dew of your right hand is more generous than Hatem,

is more ample, more plentiful in giving, and more abundant.

Overflowing with gifts and abundant favor.

ويقل يا بحر المكارم والعطا

ويقل يا بحر المكارم والعطا

عن فضلها يحيى ويصغر جعفر

عن فضلها يحيى ويصغر جعفر

And small, O sea of noble deeds and bounty,

O ocean of generosity and giving,

is Yahya beside its generosity, and Ja'far pales.

None can match your excellence, not even Yahya or Ja'far.

فاسمح لعبدك بالنوال تطولا

فاسمح لعبدك بالنوال تطولا

فلسان شكري بالثناء مقصر

فلسان شكري بالثناء مقصر

So favor your servant with gifts, out of graciousness,

So permit this servant to receive your gifts for ages,

for the tongue of my gratitude falls short in praise.

For my tongue falls short in thanking and praising you.

لا زال مدحك في الدفاتر ذكره

لا زال مدحك في الدفاتر ذكره

لا ينطوي وحديث جودك ينشر

لا ينطوي وحديث جودك ينشر

May the record of praise for you endure in the books,

The book of your glory has pages that will never close,

never folded away, while word of your generosity is spread.

Your story of generosity will always spread.

وبقيت محروس الجناب ولم يزل

وبقيت محروس الجناب ولم يزل

يزهو بمرآك الزمان ويزهر

يزهو بمرآك الزمان ويزهر

And may you remain with your precincts guarded, and may

You remain protected and esteemed,

time ever flourish and blossom at the sight of you,

The age shines and blossoms with your sight.

ارج النسيم اليك وهو معنبر

as long as musk spreads its scent and is brought

No scent of musk is ever lost on the breeze,

to you by the breeze's fragrance, ambergris-scented.

But comes to you, perfumed and ambergris-laden.
